MINISTRIES
We are excited here at First Christian Church about the Ministries we offer to our kids of all ages! The ministries listed below are just some of the many things we have going on at the church and we invite you to come be a part of our church family and get plugged into this awesome body of believers! We are unapologetic about our faith and beliefs and welcome and love everyone as Christ loves us. Come check out the awesome things we are doing here at FCC!
Children's Church
Every Sunday morning Children's Church is offered to those in Kindergarten-5th Grade. This is a worship service designed to get onto the kids level and help them understand God's plan for their lives and how Jesus came to this earth to save us from our sins and bring us back to God. Communion will be offered to those who have accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior. Children's Church begins at 11 am and ends at 12 pm.
Youth Groups
Every Sunday Night we have Youth Groups available for Children who are in Preschool-High School. These groups start at 6pm and are located throughout the church building in age appropriate classrooms. All ages play games and have a lesson that brings them closer to understanding God's Word and His love for them through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Younger ages also have a craft every week, while the older kids engage in a time of worship. Come out and join us!
Sunday School
Sunday School is offered every Sunday from 10-10:50 am just before the morning Worship service. There is a class for everyone and for all ages! From the youngest child to the oldest adult there is a class for you to get connected with. We dive deep into God's Word and explore His truths and share the message of life and salvation that is for everyone. All classes/lessons are age appropriate and are a great way to get connected with others.
Nursery
Here at First Christian Church we offer a nursery for infants through Preschool age. We love our kids and have the very best volunteers who love the Lord and every child with all of their hearts. The Nursery is offered during our morning worship service at 11 am.
Vacation Bible School
Every Summer First Christian offers Vacation Bible School to all children from Preschool-5th Grade. This is a great time to get a little wild and zany but also a great time to learn about God and His Word! We offer crafts, snacks, cool Bible lessons, and lots of fun games! Everyone is welcome to come and have fun and get closer to God through this week! VBS is held in the evenings during the summer to make it more convenient for parents to maneuver with their work schedule. Stay tuned for exact days, times, and our theme!
Small Groups
On March 8th we are launching a Small Group for the Middle and High School. The small group would be held on Wednesday Evenings at 6:45 pm through 8 pm. We will be looking at a series for youth by Francis Chan called "Doctrine". We will have a time of worship that will lead us into the lesson. Come out to the Haines' and relax and have a great time digging into God's Word!
